Rhythm and Beat
Loud music thumped against the walls, screaming to get out into the world. It wanted to be heard; it wanted to be spread like a disease. "Infect the world!" It shouted to the gyrating crowd. And the crowd responded in turn, letting the disease corrupt their bodies and souls. Sweat beaded on nearly naked people, slid like a lover's fingers down and down. Sensuous, even the sweat seemed to be following the undercurrent of the music's addicting beat. Light flashed all around, tying the crowd closer and closer together. Soon, everyone would be touching, no flesh left undefiled. Isolation was not an option.
